With its monumental cathedral featuring carvings as delicate as any piece of lacework, Strasbourg is one of Europe’s most attractive cities. Thanks to the richness and sheer density of its heritage sites, the entire town centre has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage. Strasbourg is definitely well worth a visit, to discover its history, its cuisine and its unique atmosphere.
A gentle stroll to finish the day nicely...

Thanks to its many pedestrian areas, the town is perfect for strolling during the evening. On sunny evenings a huge choice of cafe terraces provide the perfect opportunity to relax and soak up Strasbourg’s unique atmosphere.
During the summertime you can also admire the many audiovisual entertainment features and the street art performers skilfully combining music, dance or theatre.
Or a hectic nightlife...
Strasbourg is a youthful city, and home to almost 50,000 students of all nationalities. Its nightlife is lively and enjoyable, with a large number of theme bars, performance venues, improvised dance floors and discotheques where you’ll find something you enjoy, whatever your taste in music.

Le 16 avril dernier, Catherine et moi émetions déjà quelques craintes quant à nos possibilités de restituer Strasbourg telle que cette ville mérite de l'être ! Avant d'éditer en toute modestie les "clics" figés au cours de nos ballades en long et en large ( toujours en marchant ), un nouveau coup d'oeil sur "Strasbourg, ma ville" prend encore plus d'intérêt dans la mesure où désormais, on reconnait tous les endroits où nous sommes passés ! C'est une superbe galerie sur cette belle ville de Strasbourg. Je ressens plus d'intimité dans les dernières prises de vues, une façon de nous montrer ces superbes endroits comme quelqu'un qui les connait bien. C'est un autre regard que celui du touriste de passage, un regard nourri de sentiments. Bref, des photos comme je les aime et j'en redemande. Jean-Paul
