Rovinj is still today a lively and very active port, one of the last in the Mediterranean Sea to be almost exclusively dedicated to fishing; every morning, very early, the fishermen and their small boats take to the sea, then returning with their load of very fresh products, destined for the kitchens of homes and restaurants.
