A sweet and well composed image, in a beautiful and peaceful street. The title is also strong, as it deserves !...

Marisa, I like that red carpet effect. I wonder how hard it is to keep it in order. I agree with Karen that it would be good to have more imagination where I live for prettier street scenes. You are fortunate to live in such a lovely place, or to be able to visit there if it's not where you love. The light doesn't seem quite righ to em in this one. I feel like theere should be light onthe destination as it is, but I would also like to see light on that red carpet to make it really stand out. Does the sun fall on that strip at some time during the day? The other thing that strikes me is that there is not so much detail of interest on the left where the sun is shining, but the more interesting wall and shutters on the right are in the shade. It would be interesting to see a comparison with this shot to see how they both look when compared.

Again, the colors in your town are just so charming. I wish people here would use a little imagination. The red sidewalk really stands out but also fits in at the same time.
