Peeping out from my troglodytic cave…

Nyon - Vaud (Switzerland)

Summer so far has been very kind to me, the majority of people is complaining desperately because of the bad weather; it’s rainy and relatively cold like it’s usually in October…
I know, the majority of people want burning sun and all the usual summer clichés, I know.
I’m always with minorities.
I am a minority.

All the photos of this series, which should be considered a homogenous work, compose a visual description of my very personal idea of summer. Each photo is posted on the same day it’s taken, they have all square format.
You might see also the others, if you have time.

La minorité va-t-elle devenir la majorité ? Voilà la question. Et tout cas je m'ajoute sur la liste. Vive la fraicheur ! D'aiileurs dans ta cave, y aurait-il une petite bouteille au frais ?

I'm with you, Marisa. I prefer the cooler weather, not the high heat and humidity we have here. Like you, I am staying mostly in my cave too until it cools down. Beautiful portrait, by the way! V

like a Spring flower trapped beneath a rock, she comes crawling ever so slowly from the deep, dark, depths of her cave, a vision of light and beauty erupts, how long will the vision last before retreating back to the comfort and solitude of her private underground ... we will miss the flower BV

A wonderful portrait Marisa (and amazing eyes) (You would have loved it here yesterday, rain all day, unusual light and I got soaked!) Have a great day, Martin.

Well we may be in the minority but I'm loving this summer so far... very few days over 23C, lots of rain after a long, drought-ridden spring, everything is green and lush again, and the first merest hints of autumn are already here, the first blackberries are ripening, the skies are menacing, and all is good :-) Good to hear you're enjoying it too Marisa :-)
