The last great work undertaken in 1858 was the Family Chapel.
It is very simple and only has some additional terracotta, in keeping with "Neo-Bramantine" or "Neo-Byzantine" style.
It took 6 years to complete, and the work was carried out under the direction of the architect, Defendente Vanini.
