I’m quite ignorant about ornithology,
so I’d be glad if a casual visitor,
more expert than me in this field could confirm my impressions.
I bet these birds are migrating cranes.
If I were right it would be quite unusual,
since they practically never fly over Switzerland during their migrations.
I have read somewhere that their routes lead them over France much more west
(or east? You see I cannot remember what I have read either...).
The photo is not good, because I was not ready to take any photo of bird;
I was strolling over the small village....
But what attracted my attention was the cries, I looked up and I saw them...
This photo is part of a series
dedicated to a very small and unpretentious Swiss village
called Coinsins.
