As much as I liked the composition in the previous two images, I think I like the colours in this one even more; they cover a broader range. The other thing is that a good photo can either take you to a place you've never been or remind you of a place you have. In this case, for me it's the latter. The colours and the cold feel of the image (I note that it was taken in the Northern winter) remind me of some winter shots that I've done around the shore of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra. In winter it shares that combination of cold blue water and weak yellow winter sun that we see here, and this image makes me feel like I'm there again. (And makes me curious about how it would feel to be in Nyon by comparison.)
