Unexpected and ephemeral small lakes are the trace of a couple of days of tenacious rain.
It would be reductive to call them simply big puddles.
I prefer to imagine them as temporary mirrors which allow early autumn to reflect its so beautiful look.
Summer was washed away.
All is clean, bright and bracing now, not cold yet.
If I could freeze a time of the year to keep it as long as it’s possible, intact...It would be this one.
