Diagon Alley

I have started calling "Diagon Alley" the little pathway I take nearly every day to walk uphill to the centre. It’s rare to meet anyone here, so every encounter is meaningful and precious, often a little mysterious too… Diagon Alley, "my" Diagon Alley, is about 300 metres long. All the pictures of this gallery are taken within a distance, which goes from my home at the lake level, until the end of the pathway, uphill, by the castle

J'aime particulièrement la manière dont tu nous conduis dans la Diagon Alley au rythme des jours, des lumières, et des saisons, Marisa. C'est un peu comme si on feuilletait le livre d'images d'une allée enchantée dont les compagnons magiques sont de superbes chats, des corbeaux, de rares humains et un dragon... Et la fin tragique de la Diagon Alley ne parvient pas à altérer l'impression d'émerveillement qui se dégage de ces superbes images. Sensibilité, art de nous plonger dans une atmosphère unique, et de sublimer. Chef d'oeuvre ! BV.

What's remarkable about this Marisa is that Diagon assumed a spirit and place in your mind. It seems that the images gelled there. Then you took your camera and trusty PS and brought those images to life, faithful to both the reality of the place and to the images lodged in your consciousness. Quite an achievement and worthy of the number one spot because of all the enjoyment it has brought. I feel as though I have been reading a book, notwithstanding the literary connection of the title....it becomes the more fascintiong for it!! vote
