I started my journey into photography over thirty years ago, with 35mm film SLRs loaded with (mostly Fujichrome) slide film.
I started using digital cameras in the mid 2000s... and I now use a mix of 35mm and medium format film and digital camera gear.
But most importantly, regardless of the medium used, I still always enjoy working 'the old fashioned way', slowly and painstakingly perfecting the framing, and then patiently waiting for that fleeting moment when the light is perfect in all its glory.
I am a firm believer in 'getting it right in camera', and after I trip the shutter, I know the magic is over.
Ultimately, my goal is to communicate the feelings that a scene inspired in me when I was there, as if each photograph were an open window onto the world.
