Most of my childhood and adolescence is here in these corn and wheat fields and small streets
in Clermont-Ferrand. As well, my first trials in photography were made with those landscapes
all around our house in Sardon near Aigueperse with a Nikon EM and a NIKKOR 135 mm.
This gallery is dedicated to my parents and my brother Pierre.

Beautiful gallery... love the fields. We have corn and wheat in Indiana, too, but no mountains in the background. I especially like the first one with the barn and also the one with the corn stalks on the foreground. Nice work!

I have spent 20 years of my life in Auvergne (Chatel Guyon, Riom, Clermont...), then Paris and now Boston. Thank you for sharing this gallery, most of my childhood is here. I was working in these corn fields during the summer ! Your pictures are great, the colors are breathtaking. But old town Clermont would be so much nicer if it was cleaner... I will never understand the people who are doing all those graffiti on the walls. More pictures, please ! Nicolas.

Que dire sinon "bravo" pour cette serie qui me touche plus qu'une autre, bien qu'elles soient toute superbe.J'aime en regardant ces photos me souvenir d'une expo à tes débuts qui j'en était convaincu présagait déja de ton talent pour cet art.

i lived in saintes which is one hour outside of bordeaux when i was studying architecture then. i also started to photograph new york cityscape as i too realized that i wanted to have picture of where i live. looking forward to seeing more landscapes. howard

Howard thanks, I started photography with landscapes of that region where I've been living during almost all my youth. I've kept no image of that time so that in July I decided to go back there for a business trip and had only fews free hours for this collection. Will improve. Where have you been in France? marc. i think this gallery is most ineresting for me (maybe because i spent a year in france) but also i like the way in which the pictures invites you into the landscape with color and light. great stuff! howard
