Nags Head post Storm Sandy

Caroline and I spent this past weekend at Nags Head, checking on any damage to Spider Villa as well as to get any clean-up started.
I'm very happy to report that the cottage is still standing and sustained only minor damage. We cleared the porches of sand and surveyed the missing shingles and shutters that were badly beaten and, in a few cases, fell off entirely.

The photos are of Saturday, November 5th, 2012 and are arranged in the order they were taken. Some are to show the storms effects, while the balance is, just because.
