Bubinga

7 3/4" w x 2 3/4" h
My understanding is that Bubinga is related to Rosewood. I found it to be very consistant in hardness, resembling Mahogany, but maybe somewhat more interesting.
The wood was well seasoned, so was predictable in working. It had a nice glow before a finish (paste wax) was applied.
