Wings over Gillespie 2006 by Jeffrey A. Archer

My boy Jeff and I went to the "Wings over Gillespie" air show on Sunday. The sky was very interesting for photography, dark to the East and blue to the West. I let Jeff use my 20D and the 100-400L. At the end of the day he told me "My hands and arms hurt but I think I got some good pictures" Jeff is only 9 but he has been photographing air shows with me for almost three years now.

Amazing, I hope to take shots that good some day (and I'm almost 40!). Love that shot of the Corsair (5722) -- my favorite warbird, and one of my favorite all-time shots of it. Well-done!

Nice shots, Victor and Jeffrey! You guys carry as much gear as a couple of Marines on a mission! I loved the shots of the 2 'Raiders and the Condors. From Capt. Bubba. Jeffrey, good to see you yesterday at Gillespie. Thank you for the photograph and thank you to your daddy for that cool digital overlay of me and the Skyraider. Your Gillespie shots of 2006 are really good. In particular the Skyraider shots of myself and Alan Anders in his AD4NA and my AD6 are really great. I also like the dive shot with my dive brakes out for the pyro run. Like father, like son, it's a pleasure to see your work. Thank you again. Bubba
