Alton Towers (a funpark). Yes, I went on some of the rides (not that one) and no, I didn't enjoy it much. Don't see the point, really. If you're going to do something that scares the hell out of you then I think there should be an element of real risk involved, it should demand some skill from you beyond sitting in a chair and screaming your oesophagus raw and there should be something to gain from the achievement. Climbing a mountain is something I can understand. Funparks...nope, sorry.

They're the proverbial "Nice little earner" though...
