Waldsteinia fragarioides

Common Names: Appalachian Barren Strawberry

USDA lists two varieties and ITIS lists none:
subsp. doniana
subsp. fragarioides

Note very similar to Duchesnea indica (Indian Strawberry), but it lacks runners and has more rounded leaves.
