Common Names: Flett's Violet, Olympic Violet

ENDEMIC (OLYMPIC MOUNTAINS)

No varieties:

Note yellow beard on two side petals and dark veined leaves. Found only in the Olympic Mtns in rock crevices of basalt outcrops and alpine talus. I saw but did not photograph on Klahhane Ridge trail. Also reported in good numbers on Welch Peak (5,700 ft.), south of Mt. Townsend.
