Viola canadensis

Common Names: Canadian White Violet, Canada Violet, Tall White Violet, White Violet

USDA and ITIS lists four varieties.
var. canadensis: Canadian White Violet.found SE up through Canada.
var. rugulosa: Creepingroot Violet, Canadian White Violet. found in Rocky Mts. up to AK.
var. scariosa: found only in AZ.
var. scopulorum: found in NM and CO.

Note: five white petals with purple markings and veins also white landing spot on lower three petals. Heart shaped leaves with somewhat coarse teeth.
