Common Names: Alpine Smelowskia, Siberian Smelowskia, American False Candytuft

RARE:

USDA lists three varieties of which one is found in WA state:
var. americana: (American False Candytuf)-- wNA (WA)
var. integrifolia: Fernleaf False Candytuft)-- (AK)
var. porsildii: (Porsild's False Candytuf)-- (AK)

Widespread in subalpine to alpine or arctic regions of e Asia and w N Am.

Note plant is covered in white hairs, leaves are mostly basal that are pinnately divided. A few sessile leaves on stem. Petals are white to tinted purple.
