Common Names: Pinedrops, Albany Beechdrops, Giant Bird's Nest

They live in a parasitic relationship with mycorrhizal fungi.

Note red to reddish brown flower stalk with whitish bell shaped flowers which hang down on upper half of stalk. Grows to 3 feet tall.
