Common Name: Fringed Grass of Parnassus

USDA lists three varieties of which two are in WA state.
var. fimbriata: western NA
var. hoodiana: OR,WA (Skamania County)
var. intermedia: OR, ID, NV


Note fringe on 5 white petals with green veins that flair at mid-point. 1 early or 5 stamens. Broad, heart shaped basal leaves with clasping leaves on flower stem.
