She is shown decapitated and dismembered, the result of her murder by Huitzilopochtli
(her brother, the god of war, the sun and human sacrifice), who also killed his
400 brothers (aka: Centzonhuītznāhua or the gods of the southern stars)
en route to becoming the supreme god.
