I spent one day in Glasgow and you can see where I went by my images.

Most of the buildings seemed to have been built in the late 19th century
at the peak of Glasgow's power and influence, from red or blond sandstone
and are quite ornate. Overall it is an impressive heritage of Victorian architecture,
especially all the spires and cupolas.

Well worth a visit. I'm just sorry I couldn't have spent more time.
