Castilleja rhexiifolia

Common names: Splitleaf Paintbrush, Rosy Paintbrush, Alpine Paintbrush, Rhexia-leaved Paintbrush.

Note pink/purplish hue (vs. red - red/orange), rounded, hairy bracts, leaves alternate, light green, singular to shallow 3 lobes. Known to hybridize with C. miniata. Small size. Generally found in north central and north eastern WA.
