There is a natural sepia tone to the Texas countryside in deep winter.
The 1st bw conversion wiped out any remnant of that tone, and the loss
turned into a burr under the blanket. The bw conversion method
that I currently use allows for much greater tone control,
and I hope the 2nd conversion retains a hint of the
look/taste/feel of that day in January.
