hi derick! you can make you shot of Our Lady of MMS a lot more dramatic: use your nikon (or canon) flash about 10 feet right of your camera. aim only at Our Lady's face. make the flash be your main light. read the proper exposure on the flash's distance/aperture/asa whatever. and then, darken the entire area by choosing 2 - 3 FASTER speeds than usual. since you're using a digital, you can experiment with this. the idea/objective is to have a glowing head of Our Lady.....
