Iran - Kish Island (beach)


Kish Island is a resort island lapped by the sheltered waters of coral-edged lagoons, home to many of the world's spices of reef fish. Snorkeling in the Kish Island is amongst the best in the world, whilst scuba diving offers an even more spectacular insight of life beneath the waters.

Kish lies like a pearl across the turquoise waters of the Persian Gulf and is a heaven of peace and tranquility fringed by sandy beaches and coral reefs vivid with colorful fish.

I was working on Kish at 70's -80s , and I LOVED THE island , is the more butifull place I NEVER MET. i HOPE ONE DAY TO VISIT AGAIN . i will be hopy to have a touch with any one from those days .

Salam these phots are really beautiful i am English but resided in Tehran for 16 years. Travelled to kish several times and never wanted to go back to mainland. We intend to travel summer 2007 and stay for 2 weeks. then return to uk. there i no other island like kish and we should keep it from commercialisation! don't ruin it keep it persian!
