Partial eclipse

There was a partial eclipse of the sun this morning but naturally it was
overcast so we didn't seen anything.

I have seen ( though never look of course ) 2 of them...the silence, especially the birds ,is rather wonderful.

I have waited a long time to see an eclipse of the sun, or a comet, often forecast, never seen. I am running out of time very fast, do I feel lucky,,,no.

forewarnings of celestial occurences often herald cloudy skies here too, in addition to which the city was too far west to witness the moment...your spiderly alternative offers a sound option..
