It's mid-February. I'm fed up with winter, of cold, dull grey days.
I'm longing for spring although I know there's still a lot of winter to come.

the daffs add a bright note, but know what you feel...winter can drag on some years, obliging the robins to plumb the mulch for any potential nourishment..
