After the storm

Saturday was a lovely bright sunny day so we went for a walk along the
Carlingford Greenway.
A section of fence has been blown down and the Greenway has now been closed until it is repaired.
Our landline and broadband has been out since Saturday so I've had to come into the office to work.

It’s amazing how bright and calm it seems here compared to the destructive storm. V

Must have been a powerful wind. I'm curious about the reason for the green netting.

I can almost feel that fence from this angle. There would have been some force behind that. At least it blew the clouds away. It would be nice to be temporarily uncontactable by the news bureau at work... except of course these days you ARE the news bureau.

The power of the wind. Your excellent gives a taste of the widespread damage from the storm. Beyond the broken fence the vista is wonderful. V

You had it much worse than us.

Great shot of the damage, which looks rather significant.

Storms have a way of causing havoc and getting away with it as they fade without punishment....
