Polling Day

Ireland went to the polls today in the 2024 General Election.
Normally I would be covering the count over the weekend but
I'm still recovering from a protracted bout of sinusitis so I will
miss out on covering what I anticipated would be the last general
election before I retire.

As I understand it (from this distance), that will depend on how long this government lasts, I suppose. I hope the sinuses get better; that can't be a lot of fun, especially given how long it's been running (no pun intended).

It seems half the world is voting this year, not always with good results. I wonder how Ireland will fare? Great photo, by the way! I hope you are not sorry to be missing the action? Hoping you recover fully ASAP. V
