Christmas lights

Life is pretty hectic at the moment (hence the lack of commenting) and the weather is dull and grey so I decided to play around with the Christmas lights - a bargain from the January sales!

I like the drops of golden light in the background which echo the main light so well... but it's a travesty that there are shops out there selling Christmas lights in January. They should wait until early April before selling Christmas decorations, like all of the other retailers. January is for Easter Eggs and hot cross buns, not Christmas decorations!

Nicely composed image! I like the spots of colored lights in the distance and the reflection. I agree with Helen. The shallow dof works really well here. V
