Cashel

Dogs aren't allowed at the Rock of Cashel heritage site but as I'd seen it before I took Fudge for a walk to Hore Abbey while my husband and son visited the monastic ruins on top of the rock.

Nice perspective; the ruined building in the foreground sets the tone, and the ruins in the background echo the theme. I'm imagining that building as it once was, and how it got from there to what we see here.
