The snow clad mountains

I wanted to make sure that I got a photo of the snow clad mountains under a blue sky today.
Skipping my coffee break, I went down to the harbour to get a photo of the Cooley mountains.
Lots of birds down there too so I must made another visit with a zoom lens.

It's fortunate that the clouds were there; they obscure most of the lighter part of the sky leaving only the deeper, cooler blue above.
