I can't believe I've never taken a photo of the sunrise over Dundalk Bay before.
This morning, as I was standing at the side of the road taking a boring picture of the sun rising over the fields, a neighbour pulled up in his jeep, rolled down the window and commented on the beauty of the sky.
Then he mentioned that I should see it at The Point as the tide was in.
Naturally enough, all thoughts of breakfast forgotten, I drove up the road and found myself looking at the most beautiful sunrise.
I took a few shots of which this is my favourite, before returning home to my porridge which was waiting for me in the microwave.
