There's been a bountiful crop of elderflowers this year, so after some hunting on the internet for recipes, I decided I'd make some elderflower cordial.
My plan, however, hit a stumbling block when I discovered that the haberdashery shop beside our office was clean out of muslin. Seems pesky photographers have been buying it in bulk.
The flowers are fading fast so unless I can buy some muslin elsewhere, I'll have to wait until next summer to make cordial.
