Still Life in the Garden

For the weekend challenge, this is an accidentally arranged still life,
and although I thought of putting together another arrangement
I liked how the light and shadow fell on these pots.
I've been spending quite a bit of time in the garden lately as I can
combine looking after Fudge, our new puppy, with gardening.
The garden is long overdue some TLC - a succession of wet Irish
summers and preoccupation with other interests meant that the
garden had been neglected. I am now trying to reclaim the beds
which had become overgrown and am trying to think of a long-term
low maintenance solution in keeping with a country garden.

I like this. Something that is familiar in one corner of my garden. Nice idea for the challenge. Love the shot!

Nice to see you in the challenge. Good entry too... though I'm surprised the pots are not a littel chewed on the edges yet...

appealing light play for sure...for low maintenace plants in the garden, shrubs can be the way to go...they can be attractive and resilient, and need less care than flowers

Very nicely composed with all those curving lines. Gardens can get out of hand so quickly!

When I saw the pots just tossed together like that I looked for the pawprints that said "Fudge wuz here". The image does well to tell the story of a garden in need of TLC.
