Last chance saloon

'I didn't get a photo for my PAD' I moaned to my husband as the clock
approached midnight. It had been a busy day: work, shopping, and
puppy minding. My the time I sat down to have a glass of wine and
watch some television, photography was the last thing on my mind.
But when I said that I'd failed to get a photo for the first time in nearly
a year, my husband pointed out that I still had time. So, I reached
for my handbag, got out the camera and took a photo of the first
thing I saw. As you see, I did put down my glass of wine first.

What a great still life photo Mairead. Wonderful story and wonderful mood. ~

This is awesome! I just love the mood. Sometimes the last minute pics are the best because of the spontanaity. :) V

Serendipitous, after all, a beautiful shot with great tones. V

You're one of those lucky people who can perform under pressure. You did a beautiful job at the last minute.

Just under 11 minutes to spare. (I'm so glad that I don't have that pressure any more! My goal for this year is about 250 PADs (I couldn't do the whole year since I didn't start until mid-January anyway) but am thinking of going for 365 in calendar 2011.)
Still, necessity being the mother of photography in this case, it worked out well. It has a "theme" of repeating verticals happening which divides the individual elements nicely.

Made me laugh at your "story" :-)
