Imitation, they say, is the sincerest form of flattery.
Ever since I saw a photo of a seedhead against the setting sun
on my Nikon app, I thought it was something I would like to try.
With dandelion clocks dotted everywhere it seemed an easy on
to set up. But the sun was sinking very low, the auto focus
was hunting like mad, I had no-one to hold the dandelion.
So, there I was, perched on top of a field gate to get some
height, holding the dandelion in one hand and the camera
in the other. I'm sure the motorist who drove past thought
I was crazy but I quite like this result. In fact, I feel a
gallery of dandelion clocks coming on.
