Retirement some years ago gave my mother-in-law the time to take
up new hobbies. When she wasn't minding grandchildren ( a service
we unfortunately were unable to avail of as we live on the other
side of the Irish Sea) she was painting or doing pottery. We were
the happy recipients of many of her pieces before hand luggage
restrictions put paid to heavy cases.
