http://www.pbase.com/madmedic/whyonly4inches There I explain that the majority of pics are taken very close-up, with cropping done for composition purposes. I use AI Servo to follow the ducks, therefore I use the centre focusing point. This makes it necessary for me to compose once in the computer. The original of this particular image is practically full-size, and cropped for composition.
