That's great there's someone around the area that still knows the art of it, Barri. The timber work in these old structures is amazing also, much less to think how expensive such massive beams would be today in material and time. Hopefully someone won't come along and stucco the entire thing in years to come. Thanks.

Yeah so much classic masonary is covered up and gone. I knew a bricklayer from Britain who companies here would call to do more complex tasks with brick, since no one around this area knew how to do some of it anymore.

No mistake these are turn of the century. Love arch showing their load bearing ability. Nice they didn't cover it all when they changed the style, but what a pity to loose so many wonderful hand made panes. Simple, but effective & ideal shot.
