Yeah on the P&S style camera they work pretty cool, nice to be able to turn to vertical, and extra battery power, and somewher to put extra fingers. Another thing I got is the Tamron lens cap, B&H has them under "film cameras"...so much easier to take off/on with a hood on.

I'm wanting one for my A2, KEH had 3 of them untill I was ready to order.. then they were gone. Typical, lol. I never bothered with the 300D, it's large enough for my hand anyway. But the A2 is pretty small.

Hey Tom....Yep it's pretty big, but I actually like it better with the grip on, it fits the hand better...and the camera is pretty heavy for a P&S anyway so it doesn't add too much. Well that's not the case with my Canon with the grip though, feels like I'm a 1940's photgrapher with a big press camera with the grip on that one....:-). Looked all over to find one for the 10d, 'cause they stopped making them, finally found one and I honestly don't use it much.

Awesome looking beast, Barri. How heavy is this with the battery pack added? Man, that's about as big as a P&S is going to get, but good camera. Has "Classic" written all over it.
