Hi Tom
I think these are a certain breed...think I saw a pic on another site a bit back...of these kind...and sooner or later someone will know. Yet I certainly know what you mean about the other stuff..I have seen crosses of domestic and wild in ducks and geese both. I think in the cities one of the big killers of birds is that stuff to keep your lawn green and insecticides. They kill off the earthworms that birds feed on, also the earthworms necessary to having a green lawn...LOL. Then they gotcha. I see very few Robins around here anymore, used to be tons of 'em

We intrude on land they've had forever and they have to go somewhere, then we wipe
them out. It's funny in school they taught us (years ago) species didn't mix. If that
were the case, you think it might have anything to do with man's genetic mixing of them?
Or you think that was another form of propaganda in the old days? I mean, you know there's No way any government will allow human cloning! lol
Thanks, always a pleasure talking with you. tom

Hi Tom
There are so many mixes of geese around here. Canadian/domestic etc. etc. I can't tell what anything is...sometime I see one... think it's a species I haven't seen then find out it's a mix...like some of the ducks around here. Even the Sandhill cranes are coming in much closer to town...along with coyotes and bears even. Female coyotes were out trying to seduce my dogs last fall, luckily we have a high fence.

Now these guy's I've seen before. Don't have a clue how many species there are.. I might have to do some looking on that. Love that type thing. Nice shot too.
