Domes are cool, and it's fun to take photos of them from below. Too bad you couldn't frame the whole circle, but you can always think about that the next time you see one :)

This was one of the easier interior shots in this gallery, at least there was some light up there, the rest of the building is very, very dark.

Thanks Colorofthewind. I wasn't sure to use this or a more symetrical crop I had...but then seeing everyone standing in the middle pointing lenses up, I decided on the off center...besides some think I'm a little off balance anyway.

Thanks Manfred, The dome area of the building is about the only area where there is enough light for reasonable handheld shots. It's a very beautiful but very dark building, with high contrast (few windows but many light fixtures all over) so if you get the darks the highs blow out. Next time I'm going to try to plan better, and see if they allow tripods.
