LOL.. Barri, reminded me of one of my first shots I took when I got my 300D. Hadn't read the manual, so I shot it with flash. Didn't even need a tripod. ;-)

First I started out like you'd do a night shot, all I got was a blurry ball. Then I started reading on the net that the moon is almost as bright as a beach scene...so adjusted and couldn't believe the difference.
