Tenny Park Locks - Yahara River

These locks are between two lakes (Mendota and Monona) of differing levels.
They are used to allow boats to pass between and to control the level
of the lower lake, since many homes are built close to the water level there.
Increasing urban run-off during rainy/stormy weather has exacerbated the need to control the level.
