This is a National Historic Landmark site located in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. It was getting dark and I think this was probably ASA 100 or ASA 200 film, forcing a lower Fstop than desired, giving a shorter depth of field than optimal...so I focused mostly on the mansion, and it turned out OK. If the light would have been better the foreground would have had a better focus too. Think this was Taken with a manual focus Minolta SRT 102 and a Tamron 28-70 lens back in the mid to late 1990's....can remember the conditions, but not the camera or film for sure
