Gunner's Gallery

Gunner was new to the world in this gallery. We got him just before Christmas 2004...and I think he might have been the cutest puppy I ever saw.
It's hard to believe but we lost 'Lil G' to cancer just before Christmas 2006 so he only was in the world for 2 years. He was quite a character in that short time...and brightened up our lives in immeasurable ways.

I was so sad to read about Gunner. It reminded me of losing our little Finn who was just a year and a half when he died from meningoencephalitis. It's tough losing any dog but when they are so young it is devastating. Do you mind me asking what kind of cancer he had at such a young age? I am a small animal veterinarian and cancer at that young age is rare. Thanks.

He is beautiful!! What a sad story though. At least you and he had each other for those couple of years. I lost two dogs to cancer, so I know how tough it is. Great set of images here. V

LOL. I think some of his baby teeth will be stuck in my hand...he plays very hard. Yes he has quite a personality too, one of those give it 150% types, already playing tug-of war with a rope, with our other dogs, and not letting go even when flung into the air. Anything and everything that he can get in trouble with...Thanks for your comments.

What a cutie! Best part about a puppy is their playfullness....worst part...stepping on fallen-out puppy baby teeth in the middle of the night! Ouch! Congrats on your new addition. Looks like he has alot of personality!
