This poor camera was found in a thrift store for $5. The self-timer was jammed, the mirror was locked up and the on/off switch was broken (off and could not be turned on.) While the XE-5 was never pretty with it's odd mix of black and chrome, this one has the added charm of white paint spatters and the name of a photo studio engraved on every chrome surface (now hidden with black tape.) Despite all this, with careful un-jamming, new batteries and the on-switch fixed on, it actually works rather well.
